Start with the documented color character
Benjamin Moore Navajo White OC-95 is a warm off-white, separate from SW-6126. A physical comparison is needed to decide how that character works with your own finishes. Navajo White OC-95 is a lighter reference than the same-name Sherwin-Williams color and must stay attached to its own brand.
Why the cream tile and warm wood relationship matters
Warm wood and cream tile can make a coherent off-white setting, provided the actual OC-95 sample agrees with the fixed tile.
Navajo White has an LRV of 78.26; Sherwin-Williams Navajo White SW-6126 is 72. The difference is 6.26 points, with Navajo White returning more light under the reference measurement. Sherwin-Williams Navajo White is a yellow-influenced off-white. This supplies a named color control; the LRV gap alone does not identify the warmer, greener or pinker paint.
Use Navajo White as a control
Use the fixed cabinet or ceramic white as the starting reference for Navajo White. Compare the joint in daylight before adding colored fabrics. Then introduce Navajo White and remove it again: the useful cast is the one seen beside the fixture that will remain, not only between competing paint samples.
Separate a persistent cast from a comparison effect
Compare the authentic OC-95 sample to the tile and keep the Sherwin-Williams version out of the same-name assumption. The warm-versus-cool comparison covers that related choice.
If the unwanted cast remains beside a permanent finish under normal light, that is a practical reason to replace Navajo White. If it appears only beside an unused sample, remove the comparison and assess the intended palette alone. Before ordering samples, compare room-planning features in the paint color visualizer roundup.
